8 Week Challenge Week 3

Kia ora whanau!

Not such an awesome end of week last week, managed to sprain my ankle playing touch for the kickboxing team :(
But injury wont hold me back so I did a light train on Sat, iced & elevated my foot and got right back into normal training on Monday night :)

Had my second weigh in last night which was a tad scary

 but I now weigh in at 75.1kg!!!
I managed to drop 2cm from my bust, 3cm from my bum, 2cm from my thighs & 1cm from my arms, stomach and hips :)

Very happy with my results!

Oh and on the running front I cant run over halfway now so i'll just keep at it and in no time I will hopefully be running the whole circuit like a pro!!

8 Week Challenge Week 2

Hey yall!

So the second week has started and I'm feeling pretty good really, apart from the complete and utter exhaustion but hey I have kids so that's nothing new really!

We have started having to run as part of our warm up on Mon & Wed and I HATE running and am useless at it and to no surprise I was fecking useless Mon evening and didn't even run half way hahaha aww geez BUT........ SUCCESS I managed to run over halfway on our circuit last night an I wasn't even wearing shoes :)




So my challenge is to manage to run the entire circuit cos I'm a freak and need challenges to keep me interested (that's why I had so many boyfriends)

8 Week Challenge has started!

Last night we officially started the 8 Week Challenge at our 1st training.
I have been training for about a month now & didnt think it would be that bad but boy was I wrong!!
You know you have done work when you cant even mix cake batter because your arms are too sore & weak :(
But even though it killed me almost and after doing around 200 + situps & press ups in the space of an hour I am excited to hopefully start seeing more results and getting fitter and stronger.

My diet is okish im not a huge fan of dieting ever and the not eating junk food is easy its the craving for sweet food after training and just about having to wear a nappy cos you have drunk more water then ever before thats the struggle.

But I better stop whining as I still have two more trainings this week :O

8 Week Challenge

So my exercise plan has now been kicked into overdrive!

There is an 8 week challenge happening at Kickboxing and all I have to do is eat better and attend 4x classes a week, no sweat huh?

Well im a smoker so giving it up will be the biggest challenge of all!

So from yesterday I started my 8 week challenge, no eating bad food, smoking or drinking.

I had to be weighed  yesterday and am now 76kgs exactly so I have lost weight, but as this is a challenge the participant to lose the most overall body weight % wins their $ back.

Im gonna give it my all and if I dont win its no biggy cos I will look awesome for Summer & have quit smoking at once :)

Ship Shape for Summer!

So folks its come to my attention that it is almost (said VERY lightly) SUMMER!!!
Excuse me while everyone runs to grab their togs bar me, but alas I have a plan.............. EXERCISE!!!!!

I have recently started Kickboxing after my good friend lost 9kgs and looks amazing, so I thought YES I can do that too so wont you come on my weight loss journey with me?

I start my journey at a whopping 76.3kg *cringe* & have been to 4 classes so far, I'm only going to weigh myself once a month cos otherwise I will have a breakdown. My ideal weight for my height is 64kgs so lets strive for that shall we?

Last night kickboxing class almost made me vomit, but I can feel my body getting slowly fitter and stronger wohoo

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!

I praise mothers/parents of multiple children !
The school holidays are seriously meant to torture us parents for several weeks with constant, "Mum can I have an ice cream?",  "MUUUUM he hit me!",  "Buy WHY mum?!"

We are 1 1/2 weeks through our first set of holidays with a child at school and every single day without fail I get asked if we are going to school today, obviously the 1st, 4th & 7th answer were not sufficient.

But it is fun as well, getting to spend some quality time with the kiddies before yet again getting up early every morning and rushing everyone out the door, and hey in a few years the kids will be bored of me and will be running off with their friends every day of the holidays & I will think sh*t why didnt I suck it up and stop whining.
